William Green

Those who know William will say he is charismatic, talented and a pleasure to work with. Originally from Fritwell, Oxfordshire, he studied architecture in Portsmouth and then travelled the world in a camper van. He made his way home, met his future wife, gathered tonnes of architecture experience working in other practices in London and Bath, before setting up William Green Architects.

William is passionate about architecture and just loves talking about buildings. In fact, William is fascinated with property of any kind and is constantly looking at people’s homes and suggesting ways of improving them; making living spaces better and life more joyful for those who own them.

He was brought up surrounded by listed and traditional buildings yet is a huge fan of contemporary sustainable architecture. Sometimes, his designs marry the two, with the modern complementing the traditional. He is motivated by design and says he likes to transform houses to be ‘just beautifully so’.

His team have been recruited for their talent, reliability and personality. His aspirations are for the practice to be known for its stunning designs and second-to-none service.

William is a family man; he has a lovely wife Kate and two daughters keeping him busy. He runs almost every day before work and enjoys regular spinning and PT sessions.

According to William: “Buildings are the theatre to life - everything from hospitals to our homes. The more I learn about architecture, the greater the subject is and I enjoy working with clients to make their properties fabulous and an investment for the future.”
