Using our expertise in commercial space planning, we often connect different parts of a commercial space. For example, glass walls separate office space from manufacturing or workshop facilities.
Materials choices and lighting design are important. They need to be hardwearing with minimal maintenance and energy efficient. They also need to be distinctive and can be used to delineate open plan spaces, create a journey through spaces helping with navigation, orientation and wayfinding.
The arrival at a commercial space is critical, as are breakout spaces for workers and visitors. Entrance hallways and reception areas are greats place to make a statement or provide a point of difference. breakout spaces promote wellbeing and provide a positive experience.
Where possible, we like to coordinate the external and internal design of a commercial space. Some commercial projects are interior-focused but we always try to punch through and carry the design to the exterior.
