Fulham House
We are working with the owners of this property in Fulham, to transform the existing two flats and re-establish the building as a single family home, reversing a former subdivision to reveal the full potential of the original property.
Our proposal includes an extensive renovation and carefully considered extension, designed to maximise the available space while enhancing the character of the house. A sympathetic approach to the existing fabric allows the original architectural language to be restored, with improvements to the front façade ensuring it sits comfortably within the street.
Side and rear contemporary extensions introduce valuable additional accommodation and allow the internal arrangement to be reconfigured. These interventions are deliberately distinct yet complementary, creating a clear dialogue between old and new while significantly improving flow and functionality throughout the home.
The upper floors benefit from a new ensuite bedroom and dedicated study space, providing flexibility for family life. At ground level, the extension creates a generous open-plan kitchen positioned at the heart of the house. Carefully placed glazing draws natural light deep into the plan, while the kitchen connects seamlessly to a semi-separate living space. Large areas of glazing open directly onto the private garden, strengthening the relationship between inside and out.
